Change is certainly in the air. The recessionary woes of 2008 are far behind us and the market for the most part is on an upswing. People are spending more and as a result, companies are making more things. The need for professionals who are bright and talented is ever increasing. The way in which those professionals deliver their services are changing too. Jack Telford from Total Freelance states that "we are starting to see the emergence of a more flexible, dynamic workforce. As the Western world begins to emerge from recession, many are returning to work as freelance professionals."

So what does this means to you?

What that can mean to you is having a new way to use your skills to create more fulfilling work and make more of an impact. If you're looking for a practical place to find work, then look no further than Flexjobs.com. This site boasts that they "can make your job search experience better, easier, faster, and safer." Those are big claims, but from what I have seen after I searched the site initially and then paid my $14.95 for further research is that the site seems to hold up their end of the bargain. Very well known companies and very non-traditional type opportunities await the end user. So wake up and join the freelancer revolution. This is the wave of the future, so you should at least start checking it out. What do you think about the idea of independent workers and the freelance revolution? Is it completely crazy or right on target?
