Are You Second Best?

It isn't easy climbing the ranks to rise to the top. But what if you never try and you just settle to be second best? I think you would be cheating yourself and the world...yes the WORLD. Don't laugh. 

This is no laughing matter

Think of it as going out to buy an amazing gift for someone special and then you fail to deliver it. They never got a chance to enjoy it.

Powerful words spoken

Nelson Mandela said it best at his 1994 Inaugural speech: " Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our lightness NOT darkness that frightens us. Actually, who are we NOT to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does NOT serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us....it is in everyone. As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give the other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others." This speech was titled "Choosing To Be The Best." Yes, it is a choice. You can choose to be THE best or to play small and be second best. Which option will you choose and why?
