Are you caught up in making a living?

As a child growing up in a single parent family I am keenly aware of what it means to survive by going out and make a living. I watched my mom go to work daily and tirelessly to make sure my sister and I had a good upbringing. 

Lifestyle Design

I watched my mom create what I now have come to understand as lifestyle design. She put her role as a mom which was to be an active participant in her kids' lives above a job. So in other words she chose the type of life she wanted to live and took jobs that fit around our lives instead of the other way around. 

The Legacy

It worked! I survived, thrived and had a good wholesome upbringing with images of my mom always being there for my life's most precious moments. The legacy is now I am following in her footsteps by designing a lifestyle that fits my personality, passions and interests so that I can be more present in my life and with my own family.
